Ski Club of Great Britain's Freshtracks launches biggest winter programme yet with new destinations and more Takeover holidays

Founded in 1903 at London’s Café Royal, the Ski Club of Great Britain has stood as the UK's premier authority for recreational snow sports for over 120 years. Building on its historic legacy of organizing social skiing and instruction, the Club’s non-profit travel arm, Freshtracks, has officially launched its largest winter schedule to date for the 2026/27 season.
The expanded lineup responds to growing demand for structured, group-based ski travel, introducing new long-haul destinations, an expanded Italian Dolomites footprint following the completion of preparations for the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, and additional "Takeover" group holidays following a sell-out 2025/26 season.

The 2026/27 Freshtracks schedule spans seven distinct categories—ranging from Weekend Breaks to All-Mountain and Ski Touring—complemented by demographic-specific offerings for Under-35s, Peak Experience skiers (aged 60+), and women-only groups. To support its off-piste and instructional itineraries, the Ski Club continues to invest in its dedicated chalet bases in Chamonix and Flaine.
The popular Ski Club Takeover weeks are also growing following a sell-out 2025/26 season. Two new Takeovers launch in Wengen, Switzerland and the Dolomites, Italy, joining the existing programme. The Wengen week takes place from 6-13 January, immediately ahead of the famous Lauberhorn World Cup races, with prices from £1,799pp including seven nights' half-board accommodation, group flights and transfers.
Further new holidays include Niseko Discovery, a 10-night trip to Hokkaido, Japan, from £2,850pp; 4 Vallées Discovery in Hérémence, Switzerland, from £2,199pp; Sella Ronda On Piste Instruction in the Italian Dolomites from £1,750pp; and a new Women's Off Piste & Touring Skills week in Chamonix.
Freshtracks is also expanding its long-haul and adventure programme with skiing in Alberta and British Columbia in Canada, Norway's fjords and Japan, alongside more off-piste and ski touring options across the Alps.
The Ski Club continues to invest in its own chalets in Chamonix and Flaine, which remain bases for a wide range of all-mountain, off-piste and ski touring holidays.
The programme spans seven categories: Takeover Holidays, On Piste, All Mountain, Off Piste, Ski Touring, Weekend Breaks and Bucket List Adventures, alongside women's-only holidays, under-35 trips and Peak Experience holidays for skiers aged 60+.
