Honors, graduations and anniversaries at Hinterglemm

At a festive end-of-season dinner, the employees of the Hinterglemm lift co were recently the focus of attention. A total of 14 colleagues were honored by management for their performance, long-standing loyalty, and successful training and professional development.

The Hinterglemm mountain lifts employ 115 year-round staff and over 200 during the winter season: “Our employees are the heart of our company. Their daily commitment, reliability, and passion are what make the success of the Hinterglemm mountain lifts possible,” emphasized managing directors Peter Mitterer and Hans-Georg Bachmann at the celebration. “It is very important to us to recognize these achievements appropriately.”

Particularly gratifying is the successful professional development within the company: Joachim Mitterer, Anton Altenberger, and Hannes Gensbichler have all successfully completed the demanding operations manager examination. "Such qualifications are not only a personal achievement but also an important contribution to the future of our company," said the management.

There was also good news regarding apprenticeships: Lisa Hutter and Julian Müllauer each completed their apprenticeships with partial distinction. Corbian Oberbichler mastered his apprenticeship through a second-chance education program with flying colors. "The development of young talent is a high priority for us. It's wonderful to see the commitment and ambition with which our apprentices pursue their careers," it was emphasized.

A particular highlight of the evening was the recognition of employees for their long service. Harald Gensbichler, Johannes Gensbichler, and Ernst Margreiter were honored for an impressive 35 years with the company. Toni Hutter, who will retire on May 1, 2026, also celebrated 35 years with the company. Carina Riedlsperger and Franz Riedlsperger were recognized for their 25 years of loyalty.

At the same time, it was also time to say goodbye: Alexander Gensbichler and Kurt Hirschbichler were bid farewell as they entered retirement. "We thank them for their decades of service and wish them all the best for this new chapter in their lives!"

The Hinterglemm mountain railways can thus look back not only on a successful season, but also on a strong, dedicated team that sustainably shapes the operation.
