Marbachegg ski lifts: Summer record, strong annual result and positive future prospects

At this year's Annual General Meeting, Sportbahnen Marbachegg AG was able to look back on an extremely successful financial year. With another profit, a long-standing loss carryforward was virtually eliminated – a significant milestone for our company.

The summer season developed particularly well: at around CHF 1.05 million, summer traffic generated significantly higher revenues than winter operations. The mountain inn also achieved a new record with CHF 2.168 million in revenue after just nine months of operation. Overall, the company generated a profit of CHF 4.46 million, while the equity ratio rose to a strong 44.11%.

The success is based on the dedicated collaboration between the railway, the restaurant, the staff, and regional partners. At the same time, Marbachegg continues to invest in the future – including in bike and grass skiing facilities, snowmaking, and infrastructure.

Despite challenges such as winters with little snow or rising costs, the development clearly shows: Marbachegg is on track and looks to the future with confidence
