ANDY VARALLO RE-ELECTED PRESIDENT OF DOLOMITI SUPERSKI FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE TERM

The General Assembly of Dolomiti Superski has unanimously re-confirmed Andy Varallo as President of the world-renowned ski federation for the 2026–2029 term.

Meeting at the consortium’s headquarters in Ortisei/Roncadizza on July 24, 2026, the assembly voted to keep the 46-year-old Alta Badia lift operator at the helm of Europe’s largest ski destination for a third consecutive three-year mandate.

New Leadership and Board Appointments

• While Varallo retains the presidency, the assembly appointed Daniele Dezulian, 52, President of SIT Canazei, as the new Vice President.

• The updated Board of Directors (Consiglio di Amministrazione) features both returning leaders and new regional representation:

• Confirmed Board Members: Siegfried Pichler (Val di Fiemme-Obereggen), Zeno Kastlunger (Plan de Corones), Andreas Schenk (Val Gardena-Alpe di Siusi), and past president Sandro Lazzari.

• New Board Member: Sergio Prà (Civetta) joins the board representing the Veneto ski districts, succeeding Marco Zardini (Cortina d'Ampezzo).

• Board of Auditors: Re-confirmed auditors Giuseppe Zorzi and Valeria Ghezzi are joined by new member Walter Holzer.

Reflecting on Milestones: The 50th Anniversary and Milano Cortina 2026

In his end-of-term report, Varallo reviewed a transformative period for the federation of 12 valley consortia, highlighting two major milestones:

• The 50th Anniversary: Celebrating half a century of the Dolomiti Superski consortium in 2025.

• Milano Cortina 2026: Playing a central, high-visibility role during the 2026 Winter Olympic Games held across the region.

• Varallo emphasized that the organization successfully navigated the transition from post-pandemic recovery to a period of consolidation, anchored by digital transformation, modernized governance, and stronger inter-valley collaboration.

Looking Ahead: 2026–2029 Vision

"Innovation, collaboration, continuous investment, and sustainability represent the foundation upon which to build the future of Dolomiti Superski," stated Varallo following his re-election. "Our goal is to consolidate our international leadership and face the challenges of the coming decades with confidence."

For the upcoming term, Dolomiti Superski plans to further modernize organizational processes, launch new visitor-facing digital tools, and continue investing in environmental sustainability across its 12 ski valleys.
