VERTICAL PRO 2026 is on the way!

Preparations for the next edition of VERTICAL PRO are in full swing, and here's a sneak peek at the latest developments. The preliminary program is now available online, and the ticket shop is also up and running. Look forward to high-quality expert presentations and a wide variety of demonstrations in the DEMO + TEST AREA.

The VERTICAL PRO’s supporting program is sure to impress again this year with its lineup of experts:

The presentations by the DAV and the association “Ich will da rauf!” e.V. will address a wide range of topics related to inclusion in the sport of climbing. In addition to exploring how well inclusion and climbing go hand in hand, the sessions will also discuss developments in para-competitive climbing. Furthermore, they will explain how barriers in climbing gyms are being broken down to make climbing accessible to everyone.

The program will be expanded to include a panel discussion with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marco Einhaus on the topic “Use of fall protection measures – Why are safety devices used so infrequently?”. A now-traditional component is the DAV’s Route Setting Roundtable, which will also be a focus this year. A wide range of other experts will deliver engaging presentations on the topics of accident prevention, winches, Standard 17235, workplace safety, and risk assessment.

Workshops such as “Accessibility for All” (DAV), the “FLINTA+” route-building workshop with Rebekka Schütze, and the winches workshops from Andreas Riedrich and Thomas Wals in cooperation with the FSBS at the trussing system invite participants to actively engage with exhibiting companies and other industry experts.

Once again this year, WOMEN AT HEIGHT is offering a platform for exchange, networking, and knowledge sharing for women in the height access industry through expert presentations and workshops. Following the “Snack & Connect” event at the WOMEN AT HEIGHT booth in Hall A6, the booth will remain open throughout the event as a hub for information and one-on-one conversations.
