Rock A Rail Tour 2026 presented by Snowfest: Four More Stops to Follow Kick-Off in Budapest

The Rock A Rail Tour, the world’s largest street-style tour for snowboarders and freeskiers, enters its fourth season in 2026. Following the kick-off in Budapest in January, four more stops are lined up for this fall. First up is the Hintertux Park Opening in early October (October 2–4). In November, things move fast: at the beginning of the month, the tour debuts in Amsterdam as part of ISPO Amsterdam (November 4–5). Later that month, the setup takes center stage at the fifth anniversary edition of Snowfest Innsbruck (November 20–22). As always, Snowfest The Hague brings the Rock A Rail Tour to a close with the grand finale just before Christmas (December 18–20). Admission to all events is free.

Two sports. One setup. Unlimited possibilities. Rock A Rail is renowned for its progressive, challenging setups that push riders to show their best. The 2026 setup is no exception with innovative features that set the stage for world-class street-style action, requiring technical precision and high-level creativity from snowboarders and freeskiers alike. Since its debut in 2011, Rock A Rail has evolved from a local rail jam in the Netherlands into one of the leading international platforms for urban rail contests. In 2026, Rock A Rail tours Europe for the fourth consecutive year, bringing snowboard and freeski together on the streets of European cities.

Rock A Rail Hintertux presented by Snowfest, Hintertux Park Opening, October 2–4, 2026

Some traditions only get better with time. For 22 years, the Hintertux Park Opening has marked the official start of the new winter season for the freestyle community. Early October, Hintertux Glacier once again becomes the meeting place for the European snowboard and freeski scene - the launchpad for Rock A Rail’s fall leg. Rock A Rail returns to Hintertux for the second time, with an open qualification at Betterpark Hintertux for snowboarders and freeskiers and the big showdown down at the valley station.

Snowfest ISPO Amsterdam, November 4–5, 2026

A new chapter: Rock A Rail comes to Amsterdam for the very first time. In cooperation with ISPO Amsterdam and the Jibworx crew, a unique setup will be built right at the heart of Europe’s largest sports trade show. The Snowfest Village, known from the Innsbruck and The Hague stops, will also be part of the Amsterdam premiere, bringing the interactive Snowfest experience to the ISPO audience.

Snowfest Innsbruck, November 20–22, 2026

Snowfest Innsbruck celebrates its milestone 5th edition. Snowfest brings the excitement of winter sports back to the heart of the Tyrolean capital. The Snowfest Village showcases winter sports in all their diversity, inviting visitors to experience them hands-on. Once again, downtown Innsbruck becomes the stage for one of the major stops of the renowned Rock A Rail Tour. In front of the Tiroler Landestheater, the freestylers showcase their best tricks right in the heart of the city, at the foot of the Nordkette towering high above Innsbruck.

Snowfest The Hague, December 18–20, 2026

Snowfest The Hague provides the grand finale of the 2026 Rock A Rail Tour. Winter sports in all their diversity also take center stage in The Hague, with the interactive Snowfest Village inviting visitors of all ages to discover and experience for themselves. The undisputed highlight is the grand finale of the Rock A Rail Tour. The Hague holds a very special place in Rock A Rail history, as this is where it all began, making every tour finale here a meaningful homecoming.
