15th INTERALPIN Golf Trophy: Anniversary meeting at the foot of the Zugspitze

Clear skies, late summer temperatures, and the Wetterstein massif always in view: For the 15th time, INTERALPIN invited its partners and associates to a sporty and relaxed industry gathering on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Around 70 participants from the cable car and tourism industry accepted the invitation to the Tyrolean Zugspitz Golf Tournament in Ehrwald and used the tournament day, again held this year as a Texas Scramble including introductory golf lessons, not only for a friendly competition on the green, but also for professional exchange with long-standing industry colleagues. The flight consisting of Hans Hosp, Alois and Luis Kluibenschädl, Alfred Stricker, and Sebastian Klotz emerged victorious.

After the sporting events, the participants headed from the green to the Hotel Post Lermoos, owned by the Dengg family, for a convivial evening. Over fine cuisine and in a convivial atmosphere, there was ample opportunity to reflect on the day's tournament. Thus, the 15th INTERALPIN Golf Trophy came to a delightful and memorable close. The event, powered by Doppelmayr, was supported by other key players in the industry, including Axess, Alps.Sens, Belutti, Smart Solutions, SunKid, TechnoAlpin, Fleischhof Oberland, Pappas, Four Seasons, the Golfclub Tiroler Zugspitze, and the Tirolerin magazine.

15 years of a sporting industry meeting

For 15 editions now, the INTERALPIN Golf Trophy has brought together key representatives of the cable car and tourism industries away from the trade fair. Especially in the years between the biennial INTERALPIN events, the tournament provides a personal setting to cultivate existing contacts, forge new connections, and discuss current industry topics in a relaxed atmosphere.

“15 years of the INTERALPIN Golf Trophy is a wonderful sign of the solidarity within the industry. The fact that so many partners and companions repeatedly accept our invitation makes the INTERALPIN Golf Trophy a special reunion and shows how important personal contact is, even outside of the trade fair,” summarizes Stefan Kleinlercher, Project Manager of INTERALPIN.

Next meeting point: INTERALPIN Lounge @ FAFGA 2026 and INTERALPIN 2027

A few days later, the industry dialogue continues at the Innsbruck Trade Fair: From September 20 to 22, the INTERALPIN Lounge at FAFGA 2026 invites attendees to personal exchange and networking. Located in the heart of the trade fair for gastronomy, hotels, and design, the lounge in Hall B0 offers an exclusive meeting point for partners and representatives of the cable car and tourism industries, and an opportunity to already look ahead to INTERALPIN 2027.

From April 20 to 23, 2027, the 26th INTERALPIN will take place at the Innsbruck Exhibition Centre, becoming the international center for the cable car and alpine technology industry. As the world's leading trade fair for cable car and alpine technology, it focuses on innovations and future topics in the industry and offers a central platform for international exchange, knowledge transfer and new business contacts.
