The new adventure playground expands the family offerings at the Golm adventure mountain

With the new Grüneck restaurant, a central meeting point for guests has been created at the mountain station of the Golm adventure mountain. This summer season, the offerings have been further enhanced: right next to the terrace, a new adventure playground has been added, making the visit even more attractive for families, especially for younger guests.

The new playground is centrally located opposite the mountain station and the Feineck restaurant and was designed to blend harmoniously into the landscape. Spread over several levels, it offers a variety of play and exercise opportunities for children of different ages. "With the new adventure playground, we have specifically enhanced the quality of life around Grüneck. Families now have a place where children can play and let off steam, while adults enjoy the mountain scenery or a break on the Feineck terrace," explains Judith Grass, Managing Director of Golm Silvretta Lünersee Tourismus GmbH.

Play, experiment, have fun

A particular highlight is the highly visible letter "Golm." It's not just a central design element, but also an integral part of the play area: hidden within each wooden letter are a variety of climbing and play elements that invite exploration. These include a seesaw, a hamster wheel, and a place to relax. The area below is further enhanced by a marble run, natural stone climbing structures, slides, and speaking tubes that playfully encourage experimentation and communication. The playground was designed by Erlebnisplan AG from Switzerland. Monz GmbH was responsible for the construction, and Wachter Tiefbau carried out the necessary earthworks.

Perfect complement

The new outdoor area perfectly complements the existing indoor play area near the Grüneck mountain restaurant and in the Feineck area. This provides a wide range of play options even in bad weather, ensuring that nothing stands in the way of a family outing to the Golm adventure mountain, even under changeable conditions. "With the new adventure playground, we are consistently continuing on our chosen path of further expanding our offerings for families and enriching the Golm experience with additional spaces for adventure and interaction," says Judith Grass.
