NEW: Après-ski party on the UEX ski train

A night train to Austria’s ski resorts where passengers can not only sleep but also party: this is the new offering from the Urlaubs-Express. As well as the traditional seating, couchette and sleeper carriages, this train features a dedicated party area with music, chilled drinks and plenty of good cheer. “Laughing, dancing or simply enjoying this fantastic atmosphere with other winter sports enthusiasts over a drink – this makes a long train journey entertaining and as enjoyable as possible,” says UEX Media Director Eduard Bopp.

The rolling mountain hut departs on selected Friday evenings from Hamburg and, with further stops in Bremen, Münster and other stations in North Rhine-Westphalia, travels without the need to change trains to Austria’s most beautiful ski resorts, ending at St. Anton am Arlberg. The train runs in the opposite direction on the nights from Saturday to Sunday.

During the `Mountain Hut Weeks’, the trains feature a dedicated party area and the traditional quiet zone. Seat reservations and the carriage of bulky ski luggage is already included in the ticket price.

Even before the `Mountain Hut Weeks’ begin, the traditional UEX winter season gets underway on 25 December 2026. The UEX also offers motorail between Hamburg and Munich.
