2026-27 U.S. Nordic Combined Ski Team Announced

U.S. Ski & Snowboard officially announced the four athletes who accepted their nominations and are officially named to the 2026-27 Stifel U.S. Nordic Combined Ski Team. All athletes qualified for the team based on the published selection criteria.

Alexa Brabec leads the team after finishing second in the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup overall standings last season with eight podium finishes, including her first World Cup win in Seefeld, Austria. Alongside Brabec is Tara Geraghty-Moats, who secured two podium finishes during the 2025-26 season and will represent not only the nordic combined team this season but also the Stifel U.S. Ski Jumping Team. The Malacinski siblings return after strong seasons: Niklas represented Team USA at the Olympic Winter Games and Annika earned top-10 results on the World Cup.

“I’m incredibly excited for the upcoming season,” said Anders Johnson, Nordic Combined Sport Director. “Last season, we saw major progress from our athletes and I’m looking forward to building on that momentum as we head into an exciting World Championship season. I’m extremely proud of our athletes and coaches for the hard work, commitment and dedication they continue to bring every day. We have a great group, and I’m excited to see what we can accomplish together this year.”

The FIS Nordic Combined World Cup season will feature 10 race weekends, starting in Ruka, Finland, Nov. 26-29, 2026, and wrapping up in Oslo, Norway, March 11-13, 2027. The FIS Nordic Combined World Championships will be held in Falun, Sweden, Feb. 26-March 6, 2027. Find the full FIS calendar here.
