The brand’s founding artwork has been updated for 2026/27, with 27 new resorts and three editions offering different levels of detail.
The Central Network presents ski resorts as stations on an illustrated network, with routes crossing a landscape of mountains, gondolas, skiers and snowboarders. The artwork was the starting point for Frozen Underground and has now undergone its biggest update since it was created.
Each edition features the complete network, with different sizes and levels of detail:
Classic: A3, featuring the complete 192-resort network in its original format.
Discovery: A2 on art paper, with additional icons highlighting mountain railways, night skiing and cross-border skiing.
Gallery: 80 x 60cm on aluminium, with the Discovery icons plus cross-border ski-area names and selected information on mountain railways, skiing records, historical milestones, firsts and notable descents.
Frozen Underground founder and artist Anton Vamplew said: “The Central Network is where Frozen Underground began, so I didn’t want simply to make it bigger. I wanted to give people different ways to explore the same ski world. I hope they’ll find a resort they know, remember where they’ve skied and then notice something they hadn’t seen before.”

The map is designed to be explored over time, whether viewers are finding familiar resorts, tracing routes between countries or looking ahead to future ski trips. Frozen Underground says the three editions give people different ways to experience the same network, while keeping the complete map at the centre of each version.
