Successful ISO certification of Lech Bergbahnen AG

Lech Bergbahnen AG builds on a long tradition of consistent quality and environmental commitment: The original Lech ski lifts have been ISO 9001 certified since 1996, and the Rud-Alpe restaurant since 2005. Since 1998, the Lech ski lifts have also been ISO 14001 certified.

From April 14th to 16th, 2026, the audit of integrated quality and environmental management system according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 was conducted by Quality Austria.

A particular focus this year was on the further development of the company: With the integration of the facilities of the former Rüfikopf AG and additional restaurants, the scope of the certification was significantly expanded. This organizational development is one of the major steps they've taken in recent years.

To successfully implement this integration, a company-wide management system was newly established, and a dedicated position was created to ensure its sustainable implementation.

The audit aimed to assess the effectiveness of system, confirm its conformity, and identify potential for continuous improvement. The result confirms: clear structures, established processes, and a firmly rooted understanding of quality and environmental responsibility throughout the entire company.

For lech, ISO is far more than just a certificate – it's an active management tool that creates transparency, strengthens accountability, and enables continuous improvement..
