Unprecedented, VIP SKI opens bookings for Winter 2028

Following on from the hottest week on record, all I could think about was snow and ice to cool down. VIP SKI seems to be planning this too,

VIP SKI has opened bookings for Winter 2028, giving guests the opportunity to secure their preferred chalet, resort and travel dates well ahead of the season. This is a first in the ski industry to open so early…

VIP SKI has seen unprecedented demand in the past few weeks for its chalets and luxury ski hotels spread across four ski resorts in France for winter 2027 and is 50% sold already for winter.

The record early launch reflects growing demand for premium ski holidays, particularly during peak weeks such as Christmas, New Year and February half-term. By opening bookings earlier than many operators, VIP SKI offers guests the chance to plan ahead with confidence, lock in the most sought-after chalets and avoid the increasingly competitive rush for availability at peak periods.

For returning guests, families and groups who already know where and when they want to ski, booking early offers the widest choice of accommodation, from flagship chalets to flexible family suites. It also ensures the best availability for in-demand extras such as in-chalet childcare, preferred room configurations and key travel dates. https://www.vip-chalets.com/ski-holidays/2028

With properties located across high-altitude Alpine resorts including Val d’Isère, La Plagne, Arc 1950 and Avoriaz, VIP SKI’s portfolio is designed to combine snow reliability, ski-in/ski-out convenience and a seamless, fully catered experience. Across the programme, chalets and hotels sit at an average altitude of 1,967 metres, providing consistent conditions from early December through to late spring.

The introduction makes it easier than ever to secure a future ski holiday, allowing guests to confirm their plans well in advance while spreading the cost over time.

Why book a Winter 2028 ski holiday now?

With demand for premium ski holidays continuing to grow, particularly during peak periods, securing a chalet early is increasingly key at high altitudes. Ten years ago, VIP SKI Managing Director Andy Sturt set a bold objective to move all VIP SKI properties above 1,800m and the average altitude of the chalets now climbs to 1,967m. That goal has now been achieved and it’s more than just a number. Higher altitude means greater snow reliability, longer seasons, and quicker access to the slopes. At a time when snow conditions across the Alps can vary, this elevation benchmark ensures VIP SKI guests enjoy the very best of the mountains, from first lifts to spring skiing. It also reflects VIP SKI’s commitment to quality positioning chalets and suites where the snow is most dependable and the skiing most rewarding. VIP SKI’s early release for Winter 2028 enables guests to plan, locking in the best accommodation, locations and travel dates before availability becomes limited. Whether planning a festive escape, a February half-term break or a long-awaited return to the mountains, booking early offers the best combination of choice, flexibility and peace of mind.
