"Summer Festival of Snow Sports" will celebrate its premiere in Kitzbühel on Friday, June 26th.

Ski Austria and the Kitzbühel Ski Club are hosting their first ever summer snow sports festival on Friday, June 26th, in Pfarrau Park in Kitzbühel. A diverse program for the whole family awaits visitors on the Hierzingerwiese meadow, with free admission.

The premiere of the "Summer Festival of Snow Sports" will take place in Kitzbühel on June 26th.

• WHERE: Pfarrau Park (Hierzingerwiese), Kitzbühel

• 2:00 PM: Sports festival with interactive stations and autograph opportunity

• 5:00 PM: Awards ceremony for the Ski Austria athletes

• 8:30 PM: Concert by the Kitzbühel town band

Visitors can also expect autographs from the Ski Austria stars (Julia Scheib is pictured).

The festivities kick off at 2 p.m. with a big sports festival. Children and adults can try their hand at a mobile ski jump, test their marksmanship in biathlon, or participate in various interactive activities. A prize wheel, autographs from the Ski Austria stars, and numerous other attractions also await visitors. Food and drinks will be available.

A mobile ski jump facility is also available.

A special highlight follows at 5 p.m. on the open-air stage in Pfarrau Park. During the awards ceremony, the most successful athletes of the Austrian Ski Federation will be honored for their achievements last winter. All medal winners from the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games will also be present. The program will be hosted by Daniela Schmiderer and Lukas Schweighofer.

The atmospheric finale will be a concert by the Kitzbühel town band at 8:30 pm.

With this event format, Ski Austria and the Kitzbühel Ski Club want to make winter sports accessible in the middle of summer and at the same time bring successful athletes into the spotlight.
