OTS 2026 – Award Winners Announced

Retailers and brands are celebrating after the announcement of the winners of the Outdoor Retailer of the Year - OTS Awards 2026 Awards, and the finalists of the UK Outdoor Industry Awards 2027. The results were unveiled to hundreds of industry colleagues in Liverpool during the OTS Social.

Now in their third year, the Outdoor Retailer of the Year Awards recognise and celebrate the best outdoor retailers in 10 categories: National Retailer, Online Retailer, Multi-Sited Retailer, Independent Retailer - North East / North West / South / Central / Wales / Scotland / Ireland, and UK Independent Retailer. The winners were nominated and voted for exclusively by OTS exhibitors.

The winners in each category are:

• National Outdoor Retailer of the Year Ellis Brigham

• Online Outdoor Retailer of the Year Trekitt

• Multi-sited Outdoor Retailer of the Year Tiso

• Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year - North East LD Mountain Centre

• Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year - North West The Epicentre

• Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year - South Countryside Ski and Climb

• Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year - Central Outside

• Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year - Wales Crib Goch Outdoor

• Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year - Scotland Craigdon Mountain Sports Edinburgh

• Independent Outdoor Retailer of the Year - Ireland Basecamp

• UK Independent Retailer of the Year Outside

The finalists for the 2027 UK Outdoor Industry Awards were also announced at the OTS Social.

The shortlist followed a meeting of a panel of expert judges: Gemma Smith, Buyer, Cotswold Outdoor, Dan Bailey, Gear Editor, UKClimbing & UKHillwalking; Keely MacKinnon, Store Manager, Craigdon Mountain Sports; Rebecca Dawson, Founder, Vampire Outdoors; Rebecca Astill, Commissioning Editor, Travel & Outdoors, The Telegraph, Amanda Travis, Deputy Editor, Trek & Mountain; and Guillaume Lepoutre, Commercial Leader – Outdoor Sports, Decathlon.

The finalists will be put forward to an online consumer vote, from the 19 November 2026 to February 2027, with winners announced on the 17 March 2027 at The Summit - OIA Conference & AGM. Finalists here
