Omni Mount Washington Resort Names Jace Conrad Wirth General Manager of Bretton Woods Ski Area

Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Jace Conrad Wirth as General Manager of Bretton Woods Ski Area, bringing nearly two decades of mountain resort leadership experience to one of the Northeast's premier winter destinations.

Wirth will oversee year-round operations at Bretton Woods, taking on strategic leadership across mountain operations, guest experience, community relations and long-term growth initiatives at a resort home to 63 trails and 35 glades spanning 464 skiable acres.

A resume built across North America's mountains

Wirth brings a proven track record in high-stakes mountain management and large-scale capital improvement. Most recently, he served as General Manager of Cannon Mountain and Franconia Notch State Park, where he drove record-breaking guest visitation while advancing a landmark $30 million aerial tramway replacement initiative. His strategic planning at Cannon also laid the foundation for a long-term capital improvement roadmap exceeding $50 million.

Earlier in his career, Wirth was General Manager of Granby Ranch in Colorado, a role in which he is credited with turning around the resort's operational and financial performance. He also served as Chief Operating Officer of Alaska Shore Tours, broadening his experience beyond ski operations into the wider tourism and hospitality sector.

His international experience includes a stint at Genting Resort Secret Garden in China, where he played a role in preparing the resort ahead of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Building toward a four-season future

Wirth's arrival comes as Bretton Woods continues to build out its identity as a four-season destination rather than a purely winter-focused resort. Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa said his operational track record — particularly his experience driving capital investment and visitation growth at Cannon Mountain — positions him to help accelerate that transition.

With decades of leadership experience spanning New England, the Rockies, Alaska and China, Wirth's appointment signals Bretton Woods' ambition to strengthen both its on-mountain operations and its broader year-round guest experience as it looks toward long-term growth.
