Maul Sport takes over distribution of Toko in Northern Germany and Hesse

German outdoor apparel manufacturer Maul Sport has announced a strategic expansion of its B2B distribution portfolio. Starting with the Spring/Summer 2027 season, the Munich-based company will officially take over regional distribution for Toko care products and assume nationwide distribution rights for sports eyewear brand Invu.

The dual partnerships mark a significant move by Maul Sport to diversify beyond its traditional focus on functional hiking and trekking apparel, transforming the brand into a broader multi-category service partner for sports and outdoor retail.

Targeted Regional and National Expansion

The agreements split distribution responsibilities between the two incoming brands to maximize market efficiency:

  • Toko Care Products (Northern Germany and Hesse): Maul Sport will manage the supply chain and retailer relations for Toko's specialized textile washes, proofing agents, and gear care lines across these key central and northern territories.

  • Invu Eyewear (Nationwide): Maul Sport has secured the exclusive rights to distribute the Swiss-engineered, polarized sports and lifestyle eyewear brand across all of Germany.

According to company officials, the collaboration is specifically designed to bolster the floor presence of both brands within traditional sporting goods stores, while simultaneously allowing affiliated retail buyers to consolidate their product sourcing under a single account.

Trade Fair Debut and Specialized Retail Focus

The new portfolio additions have already been rolled out to the market. The Maul Sport sales team integrated and presented the updated Toko and Invu assortments during recent industry trade fairs in Riva del Garda, Italy, and Mainhausen, Germany, gauging initial interest from European buying groups.

“We are delighted about the new cooperation with Toko and Invu. Both brands fit perfectly with our specialist retail focus and ideally complement our existing outdoor range,” explained Firuz Hamidzada, Managing Director of Maul Sport.

Maul Sport, which has been producing outdoor equipment since 1948, has historically built its reputation on close, exclusive ties with specialized independent retailers. By pairing Toko’s highly technical gear maintenance solutions and Invu’s technical optics with its core apparel lineup, the brand aims to offer a comprehensive, year-round catalog to its brick-and-mortar partners ahead of the Spring/Summer 2027 retail cycle.
