Friends of Colorado Avalanche Information Center and The String Cheese Incident Raffling Epic Ski Day with Billy Nershi

Friends of Colorado Avalanche Information Center and legendary, Colorado-based band, The String Cheese Incident have teamed up for a raffle benefiting avalanche safety and education across the state.

Friends of Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to support avalanche forecasting and education throughout Colorado. FoCAIC has invested more than $4 million into avalanche safety since 2008 and supports CAIC’s mission through community education and events, trailhead safety signage, membership program, and investing in technology innovations. One grand-prize winner will receive a day of skiing with The String Cheese Incident's co-founder Billy Nershi at Loveland Ski Area, four Loveland lift tickets, two nights of lodging, two pairs of Icelantic Skis, two Rab Khroma Latok kits, one pair of SCARPA ski boots, and one pair of SCARPA shoes.

$20 raffle tickets are on sale through July 26, 2026. The winner will be notified via email on July 27, 2026.

Friends of CAIC also joined The String Cheese Incident at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18, to promote the raffle and avalanche safety and education in Colorado.
