Mountain Planet - Demacleno & Mountaincart present highlights
29/April/2026
Mountain Planet 2026 in Grenoble showed its most vibrant side this year: crowded aisles, familiar faces, and numerous new connections shaped the event. The Mountaincart team was especially pleased to welcome many long-standing customers to the booth—some of whom have been working with the company for nearly two decades.
A particular highlight was the presence of international delegations, including representatives from Japan and several Central Asian countries, where mountain carts are already being used successfully. Encounters like these continually demonstrate how globally established the concept is and how versatile its applications can be. The team was also pleased to welcome Consul General Ms. Jessica Engel from the German Consulate in Lyon, with whom they had an engaging exchange.
There was a lively atmosphere at the stand on all three days of the trade fair. In addition to loyal customers, many new interested visitors took the opportunity to learn firsthand about the wide range of applications for mountain carts—both in summer and in winter. Particularly valuable was the direct exchange between experienced operators and potential newcomers.
Today, the mountain cart community already includes more than 180 destinations in over 40 countries. Many operators report sustainable tourism success, increasing visitor numbers, and attractive additional revenue streams. It is therefore no surprise that the concept is frequently recommended within the industry.
In addition to current innovations that further enhance riding comfort while improving the durability of the carts, the flexible entry options into the rental business—from on-site testing to seasonal rental with a purchase option—were also met with consistently positive feedback.
Additionally, DEMACLENKO presented its latest innovations and complete system solutions at Mountain Planet 2026 in Grenoble, France.

SNOWPRO 60 - THE MOST COMPACT ALL-WEATHER SNOWMAKING SYSTEM ON THE MARKET
With the SNOWPRO 60, DEMACLENKO introduces the most compact solution currently available for all-weather snowmaking. Based on the proven SNOWPRO technology, the 60 model is also insensitive to fluctuations in water quality and therefore requires no salt additives – a decisive advantage over other all-weather solutions on the market.
Thanks to the low refrigerant charge, no annual leak inspection is required. The refrigerant used is also future-proof, as it fully complies with the EU phase-out regulation. The enlarged rotary valve prevents clogging, significantly reducing maintenance requirements. Its modular design makes the system particularly suitable for ski resorts looking to start with a manageable initial investment and then expand their snowmaking fleet step by step with maximum flexibility.
The SNOWPRO 60 was developed in collaboration with KTI-Plersch Kältetechnik GmbH. Since 2022, DEMACLENKO has been the official sales partner of KTI, a German company headquartered in Balzheim with subsidiaries worldwide. The company is regarded as the global market leader in the sector and is the inventor of the first containerized, turnkey refrigeration unit. KTI has transferred this expertise to all-weather snowmaking, leading to the development of the SNOWPRO systems. As part of this strategic partnership, DEMACLENKO focuses not only on the sale of the systems, but also on building an international after-sales support network.
HIGHLIGHTS SNOWPRO 60:
Based on the proven SNOWPRO technology
Highly flexible and mobile thanks to its low weight
Compact design with minimal space requirements (fits into a 20-ft high-cube container)
Insensitive to fluctuations in water quality – no salt additives required
No annual leak testing required due to the low refrigerant charge
Refrigerant fully compliant with EU phase-out regulations
Enlarged rotary valve prevents clogging and significantly reduces maintenance requirements
Modular concept: ideal for ski resorts looking to start with a single unit and expand their fleet step by step with manageable investment
OLOID - INNOVATIVE RESERVOIR CIRCULATION
Thanks to a new partnership with OLOID Engineering GmbH, DEMACLENKO has introduced an innovative, efficient, and energy-saving solution for circulating and aerating snowmaking reservoirs. The OLOID system consists of a mixing body with a motor mounted on a floating structure that sits on the water surface and is ready for immediate operation. As a cost- and energy-efficient alternative to conventional compressor-based aeration, the OLOID ensures uniform temperature distribution and overall cooling throughout the entire reservoir, keeps the surface ice-free in winter and prevents algae growth in summer.
HIGHLIGHTS OLOID:
Potential energy and cost savings of up to 98%
Efficient water homogenization and uniform mixing of all water layers
Precise water temperature control and effective cooling
Optimized operating times of the cooling towers and reduced runtime
Prevents the formation of a closed ice cover in winter
Reduced operation of compressed-air aeration systems, up to full replacement (in existing installations)
Effective algae prevention in summer and improved water quality
Minimal cleaning and maintenance requirements
Simple installation and quick, straightforward commissioning
Can be integrated into Snowvisual, DEMACLENKO’s control software
DEMACLENKO CONNECT: STABLE AND FAST DATA TRANSMISSION VIA MOBILE NETWORK
With the software Snowvisual, DEMACLENKO has had a comprehensive and intelligent tool for the control and management of snowmaking systems for many years. To ensure that the snowmaking system operates smoothly and as efficiently as possible, it is essential to have a stable and fast data transfer between the server and field components, such as snow guns and pits. That’s why we are proud to present the latest development from DEMACLENKO: DEMACLENKO Connect.
As an alternative to radio or cable connections, DEMACLENKO Connect enables communication between components and the control server via the existing mobile network. Where other systems reach their limits, strong mobile coverage in and around ski resorts ensures a reliable connection, even in remote and difficult terrain. Snow guns of the 4.0 generation from DEMACLENKO can be easily integrated, as they are already equipped with the necessary components. However, the integration of a variety of older models or third-party snow guns is not a problem either. They simply need to be upgraded with the DEMACLENKO Connect Box. This provides ski resorts with entirely new opportunities to modernize outdated technologies easily and integrate existing systems efficiently into the Snowvisual control system.
HIGHLIGHTS DEMACLENKO CONNECT
Transmission of machine data via the established mobile network
Fast, stable and interruption-resistant data transfer
Even older models and third-party snow guns can be integrated and easily updated to the latest technology
Boosting the overall efficiency of the snowmaking system through seamless, parallel communication between components
Mountain Planet 2026 was therefore not just a trade fair, but a vibrant meeting point for exchange, inspiration, and new perspectives—once again sending a strong signal for the future of the industry.
