After the roaring success of VIP SKI’s new complimentary ski guiding services at the Graciosa Chalets in La Plagne last winter, VIP SKI has seen a sharp rise in enquiries about complimentary guiding as one of the most valued parts of a luxury ski holiday. Guests are looking to make every day count on the mountain rather than spending their first day finding their bearings. For winter 2026/2027 – VIP SKI has seen a two-fold increase of new bookings enquiring about the ski guiding service.

Skiing made easy: VIP SKI is now offering this exclusive free ski guiding service to guests staying at Hameau de Bellevarde Chalets in Val d’Isère, Bear Lodge in Arc 1950 and Graciosa Chalets in La Plagne.

VIP SKI believes the service is becoming increasingly relevant as many of Europe's best ski areas continue to expand. Resorts such as Val d'Isère, Les Arcs and La Plagne now offer hundreds of kilometres of interconnected pistes, making it easy for skiers to miss some of the mountain's best skiing without local knowledge.

Hit the slopes with VIP SKI’s complimentary ski guiding service and enjoy sociable skiing on the best pistes. The advantages of complimentary guiding with VIP SKI’s friends at Oxy and ESF ski schools, includes the luxury of avoiding frustrating bottlenecks, priority boarding in any queues at lifts, finding the lesser-known pistes, favourite mountain restaurants and maximising time on the slopes. Pocket the piste map and revel in the pure heart-pumping pleasure of skiing with a local expert.

Exclusively available to residents staying in the properties, complimentary ski guiding will be offered on the first two mornings of a ski holiday. Places are limited and available by prior reservation only. The programme is designed for competent skiers and snowboarders rather than complete beginners and is delivered by trusted local partners, creating a relaxed and sociable introduction to each resort. Instruction is not part of the complimentary guiding service.

After arrival on a Sunday, guiding takes place on Monday & Tuesday mornings 9:00-12:00.
