Heavenly Gondola Bike Haul

Mountain bikers can now use the Scenic Gondola at Heavenly Mountain Resort to reach South Lake Tahoe’s high-country trail network. Guests unload at Mid-Station, follow the Mid-Station Connector and join the new 3.5-mile Panorama Trail, an intermediate route featuring sweeping Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley views. Prices start at £29/ $39 when purchased with a Scenic Gondola ticket.

Clearly Tahoe’s new kayak tour explores historic shoreline

The summer launch of Summit Shores Clear Kayak Tour continues to explore the 150-year-old second-growth forest that lines the western shoreline of the historic settlements established by the Pope, Baldwin and Heller families. This environmental and historical experience guides guests past these early estates towards Taylor Creek, known for calm morning waters and abundant wildlife above and below the surface, all while learning about the natural ecosystem of the Lake Tahoe Basin. For families, adults, and children ages five and older of all skill levels.

Lake Link expands FREE TRANSPORTATION service area on South Shore

South Shore visitors and residents can use Lake Link, a free microtransit shuttle system to access the south shore.

The service area encourages travellers (and locals) to go car-free, leave their cars behind with convenient rides to surrounding residential neighbourhoods and attractions.

The on-demand, app-based system (accessible via the) Lake Link app operates 365 days per year.

Iceberg Tahoe – Chill at will in every season

The Iceberg opened in January 2026, located in a quiet corner of South Lake Tahoe with convenient access to Heavenly Village and the ski resort, casinos and Lake Tahoe. The High Dive Pool + Lounge at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino is now a year-round alpine escape with views of the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains. The legend of Tahoe Tessie rocks on at the new Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe. Inspired by the mythical creature said to inhabit the depths of Lake Tahoe, the new bar and lounge located in the heart of the casino floor offers a sophisticated atmosphere - a tribute to Tessie herself. Tessie's stage showcases emerging musicians and a venue for top-tier talent, with live music seven nights a week.
