Skida Celebrates the Beauty of Emergence with FW’26 Collection
09/September/2026
Skida, the Vermont-based accessories brand known for bringing joy and whimsy to the outdoors, is thrilled to unveil its new Emergence Collection. Grounded in the idea that beauty can spontaneously arise from the interaction of simpler elements, this season’s collection celebrates the magic of creation and the unforeseen magic that comes when you stay open to the flow.
Emergence features longtime Skida favorites—including the Packable Run Cap, Sun and Snow Tour Neck Gaiters, Alpine Hat and Neckwarmer, the Pursuit Liner Glove, and more—reimagined in 13 new limited-edition prints. True to the Emergence theme, the collection showcases the artful magic of enigmatic beauty in simple elements, blending graphic and traditional design techniques with rich textures and whimsy.
More than just a print theme, Emergence is also a mindset that Skida is encouraging customers to take into winter. Letting systems give way to serendipity, it’s about setting a course and mapping a plan—and then staying open to what happens along the way.
“Emergence is about trusting the process,” said Skida founder Corinne Prevot. “Preparation makes things possible, but the unexpected makes them unforgettable. That’s true of a day in the mountains, and it’s true for the creative process, too. Some of our favorite prints start as a loose idea and become something none of us could have predicted—and it’s that sense of surprise that energizes us to keep going.”
The prints in the Emergence Collection embody this journey and the openness to creative discovery that animates it. Dreamweaver‘s cool-toned geometric tiles unfold in a slow, diagonal rhythm, echoing the collection’s spirit of coordination and flow. Refugio captures the payoff of staying the course, an ode to the reward of reaching a mountain hut after a long day on the trail. And Wanderlust‘s deep navy backdrop bursts with hibiscus, fuchsia, and burnt orange, nodding to the colorful detours that make any adventure worthwhile. Rounding out the collection are prints spanning painterly florals, frosty alpine flurries, and charming forest wildlife, showing that surprising new patterns can emerge from any landscape.
“Between our roots in Vermont and our travels across the globe, we’re inspired by the beauty of all landscapes in all seasons, and we wanted this collection to reflect that,” said Prevot.
The Emergence collection will be available starting September 1, 2026 at skida.com.
