Niseko Village Gets Next-Gen Gondolas & New Moxy Hotel

With the winter 2026/27 ski season quickly approaching, Niseko Village has unveiled two destination upgrades: the brand-new Moxy Niseko Village hotel and a next-generation gondola system, featuring the resort's first-ever glass-floor cabins.

White Season at YTL Hotels' Niseko Village returns on 28th November 2026, with this season bringing two exciting launches: the newly opened Moxy Niseko Village hotel and a next-generation gondola system.

Moxy Niseko Village brings 310 guestrooms of bold, playful design to the base of the mountain. Ski-in/ski-out and adjacent to the Niseko Village Gondola, the hotel blends Moxy's signature social spirit with Japanese craft-inspired interiors, offering three distinct dining and social venues, a 24/7 fitness centre and an outdoor foot onsen for guests to unwind after a day on the slopes.

Winter 2026 will also mark the debut of a next-generation gondola system offering enhanced all-weather access to the mountain. The new Mori-no Gondola doubles transportation capacity across 86 cabins, including four VIP options with tables for light dining and two glass-floor cabins offering a thrilling new perspective on the mountain's snow-draped terrain.

Catering to a range of visitors from families and couples to serious skiers and beginners, the new launches join the destination's existing varied offering, including Niseko-yo, a dining precinct for food lovers, and a Kids' Club for children aged 1.5 to 9 years. The alpine destination's world-class collection of properties also includes the chic wabi-sabi apartments of Hinode Hills and the vibrant ski-in/ski-out hubs of Hilton Niseko Village, rounding out one of Japan's most complete ski destinations for the season ahead.
