To support its year-round development, the American resort of Massanutten Resort in Virginia has chosen the French manufacturer MND, a specialist in thrilling leisure infrastructure, to equip itself with a new recreational activity. This installation will allow the resort to expand its offerings by providing its guests with an unforgettable experience throughout the year, combining breathtaking views of the Shenandoah Valley with unique thrills thanks to the track's numerous banked turns. For MND, this is the first two-seater monorail luge (called "Fun Coaster") that it is putting into service in the United States. This is a significant milestone that allows the French company to showcase its expertise in a market that is now among the largest in the world.

At one kilometer (3,380 feet) long, the "Mountain Mayhem" monorail luge offers an exhilarating ride with a track that includes two 360-degree spirals. Its innovative design allows riders complete control over their speed, providing a personalized experience tailored to individual preferences. Whether you're looking for a thrilling adventure or a more relaxed experience to enjoy breathtaking views, the "Mountain Mayhem" can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h (25 mph), or even less thanks to its hand brake.

Developed to optimize thrills and comfort, the " Mountain Mayhem " features specially designed two-seater vehicles with a raised seat – a unique model – to guarantee a truly exhilarating downhill and speed experience. The aerodynamic design of the sleds takes ergonomic constraints into account to ensure comfort from boarding to arrival, and safety thanks to seatbelts. Designed to adapt to all types of environments and destinations, each customer can personalize the sled's body to their liking thanks to the numerous options offered by MND. Passenger safety is ensured by seatbelts, bumpers, and an automatic braking system. Each sled can accommodate two passengers with a maximum total weight of 158 kg. To guarantee the safety of all customers, individual passengers must be at least 13 years old. However, the activity remains accessible to the whole family, as children from 4 years old (accompanied) can ride.
