Mammoth Mountain to Host 2027 Toyota U.S. Alpine Championships

U.S. Ski & Snowboard announced today that Mammoth Mountain will host the 2027 Toyota U.S. Alpine Championships presented by Stifel, March 31-April 7, marking the resort's first time hosting the event since 2005.

The event is alpine skiing’s national championships and marks the pinnacle of alpine skiing competition in the United States. 2027 will also mark the first time downhill has been included since the 2021 U.S. Alpine Championships in Aspen. The week of races will also include a super-G, giant slalom and slalom.

Mammoth Mountain's Race Department has hosted competitions since 1974, including FIS World Cup, NorAm and U.S. Alpine Masters National Championships events. Hosting the best young racers from around the country is a natural fit for the California resort and the return of downhill makes the event even more special for racers and fans alike.

"We are so excited to come back to Mammoth Mountain for this year's Toyota U.S. Alpine Championships presented by Stifel," said Chip Knight, Stifel U.S. Ski Team Alpine Development Director. "The alpine national championships is a big race series for many up-and-coming athletes, and we could not be more thrilled that Mammoth Mountain will also be bringing a true downhill into the event program."
