Arc’teryx Opens Expanded Three-Level Alpha Store on Montréal’s Sainte-Catherine Street

Arc’teryx Equipment has officially unveiled its largest retail location in Montréal, opening a flagship "Alpha Store" at 1133 Saint-Catherine Street West. Spanning 9,599 square feet across three distinct levels, the expanded venue relocates the brand's longstanding downtown presence and represents its largest capital investment in the Quebec market to date.

The opening reinforces Arc’teryx’s deep historic ties to the city, which served as the home of the Canadian brand’s very first retail store.

A Multilevel Community and Circularity Hub

Designed around the brand's high-tier "Alpha Store" concept, the sprawling layout combines technical outerwear sales with circularity initiatives and community gathering zones:

  • ReBIRD Service Centre: Positioned as the core highlight of the store, the expanded ReBIRD area houses a dedicated repair technician space for in-store gear maintenance, washing, and care.

  • ReBIRD Resale & Trade-Ins: Features a curated collection of refurbished Arc'teryx garments alongside a trade-in program where customers can exchange eligible gear for store credit.

  • Community & Run Club Space: Dedicated gathering zones designed to host local trail running clubs, climbing groups, educational workshops, and speaker events.

  • Veilance Concept Area: A specialized space showcasing Arc'teryx’s technical urban streetwear line, styled to reflect Montréal's architectural aesthetic.
