Stay Out Longer with Stio’s Winter 2026 Collection

Fifteen years ago, Stio set out to make outdoor gear so good skiers stop thinking about it. This winter, that idea comes to life with Valara, an all-new insulated ski kit for women; an upgraded Environ collection; and a redesigned Colter Down, Stio’s coziest jacket. Designed and tested in Jackson Hole, the Winter 2026 collection is built for staying outside longer, with versatile, breathable pieces for every layer from base to shell.

New this season, the Valara collection brings warmth, refined fit and technical performance to an all-new insulated ski kit for women. Available as a jacket, bib and pant, the collection pairs waterproof Gore-Tex 2L ePE fabric with PeakFill Active Insulation to keep weather out and warmth in. A soft, shaped silhouette, articulated construction, ventilation and well-placed pockets bring comfort and function from first chair to last lap.

A Jackson favorite since day one, Environ gets a performance boost for improved breathability while maintaining the stormproof protection skiers count on. The updated jacket, bib and redesigned pant are available in men’s and women’s fits. From storm-day laps to uphill missions, Environ runs cooler when the effort runs hot. Fifteen years and millions of turns in, it is still the kit trusted by Jackson locals. .

For the deepest days of winter, Colter Down gets its softest, most protective fabric yet. New PeakLuxe fabric is windproof, weather resistant, and remarkably quiet, so there is no crinkle or swish. Ultrawarm 800-fill down sits in wide baffles designed to eliminate cold spots. For the coldest and wettest conditions, the new Colter XT Down Parka takes weather resistance a step further with a completely waterproof construction and seam-sealed baffles that keep water out. Available in men’s and women’s jackets plus the women’s XT Down Parka.

“After 15 years, we have a deep appreciation for the products that have become part of Stio’s story and the lives of the people who wear them,” said Kelly Hill Shuptrine, Chief Product Officer at Stio. “This collection is about honoring that heritage while continuing to push the product forward – making Environ more breathable, giving Colter a new level of warmth and protection, and introducing Valara as a new expression of what a women’s ski kit can be. We know what’s worth keeping, and we’re always looking for ways to make it better.”

Returning favorites include the lightweight Objective Pro, the freeride-ready Figment, and the all-mountain Skyrider kits. Updated baselayers and midlayers round out the collection, making it easy to build a kit for wherever the day leads. Because the best winter days aren’t about the gear, they’re about what it lets you do. Chase bliss in the Winter 2026 collection from Stio, available at Stio Mountain Studios and stio.com.
