Renoun Re-Engineers the Endurance 98 With a Stiffer, Damper Aspen-and-Maple Core

Renoun, North America’s first direct-to-consumer ski company, has released the redesigned Endurance 98 for the 2026/27 season. Its core is now a blend of aspen and maple, replacing the aspen-only core of earlier models. The change makes for a stiffer, damper ride with more stability at speed, without changing the versatility the ski is known for.

The Endurance 98 sits in the middle of Renoun’s lineup. It floats in soft snow, sets a strong edge on hardpack, and plows through crud. It has been the go-to ski for Renoun’s athlete team on days when no one is sure what conditions to expect.

One ski for unpredictable conditions

The Endurance 98 is built for skiers who split their time between groomers and everything else, and its profile reflects that. A 20% early-rise tip and 10% tail rocker keep it nimble and afloat in trees, bumps, and side-country. Underfoot, 70% camber provides the edge hold to carve groomers on the way home.

The new core is what stiffens and dampens the ride. Aspen has always given the Endurance its lively, playful feel, and the maple adds the stability needed to stay composed at higher speeds in firm and mixed snow. Two partial sheets of Titanal add torsional strength and edge hold. The Endurance 98 remains Renoun’s choice for skiers who want one ski that can do everything.

VibeStop™: the secret sauce

Like every ski Renoun makes, the Endurance 98 is built around VibeStop™, the brand’s patented vibration-dampening technology. Six channels of a proprietary non-Newtonian polymer run through the core. The polymer adapts instantly to what’s underfoot: soft and supple at slow speeds, stiff and stable when the skier opens it up.

The polymer is lightweight, so swing weight stays low. A 184 cm Endurance 98 weighs 2095 g per ski. Less vibration also means less muscle fatigue, so skiers can feel better and ski longer.
