New Snowboard Film MILK Set to Showcase a Year of Global Adventure

Austrian snowboarder and filmmaker Werni Stock and his riding crew are preparing to unveil their latest project, MILK, a new snowboard film that traces a year-long journey across some of the world's most celebrated mountain landscapes, with the first teaser premiering on the Shredbots YouTube channel.

The film is the work of Werni Stock, Leon Gütl, Tom Tramnitz and Julian Pintarelli, a group of riders well known within the European snowboard scene. According to the filmmakers, the project took them from the deep powder fields of Alaska to the rugged mountains of Norway, as well as locations in Italy and Austria during the past year.

The teaser debuts on the Shredbots YouTube channel, a platform that has established itself as one of snowboarding's leading independent film outlets, showcasing full-length productions and rider-driven projects from around the world.

For Werni Stock, MILK continues a long-running creative partnership with filmmaker Julian Pintarelli. The pair previously collaborated on acclaimed projects including Local Surroundings and Local Desire, films that highlighted Austrian snowboarding and earned significant viewership through Shredbots.

Industry observers will be watching closely to see how MILK builds on that legacy. Recent Shredbots productions have increasingly blended high-end cinematography with authentic rider storytelling, helping independent snowboard films retain a prominent place in an era dominated by short-form digital content.

The crew is also taking the film directly to audiences through a series of Austrian premieres. Screenings are scheduled for Mayrhofen on 17 November, Innsbruck on 24 November, Schruns-Montafon on 27 November, Feldkirch on 28 November and Hochfügen's RideON Shredfest on 4 December.

For international fans unable to attend the screenings, MILK will receive its online premiere on 7 December via the Shredbots YouTube channel.

With filming spanning North America and Europe and featuring a crew deeply rooted in Austria's snowboard culture, MILK arrives at a time when independent snowboard movies continue to play an important role in showcasing the sport's creativity, community and exploratory spirit. For the riders behind the project, the film represents not only a year of travel and filming, but the culmination of a shared vision developed across some of the most iconic mountain terrain in the world.
