Mont SUTTON Fall Festival is in full swing

Autumn is intoxicating at Mont SUTTON! While the Fall Festival is in full swing and continues until Sunday, October 18, the mountain confirms the grand return of Sutton en Blues for four evenings, every Saturday, from October 17 to November 7. This 23rd edition invites music lovers to let the good times roll... all the way to Sutton!

Four major artists to revisit or discover

To the delight of all music lovers, the cream of Canadian blues has once again been carefully selected by Jean Sicotte of Kazou Productions, to highlight exceptional talents too often overlooked.

The series will open on October 17th with the Stephen Barry Band , who are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year with their 10th original album. This octet will be on stage to set the tone for the series. It will be impossible not to be swept away by their energy.

The following week, on October 24th , the only woman in charge of a performance, Miss Emily , will offer an evening of vocal prowess. This Prince Edward Island native boasts three Maple Blues Award Artist of the Year titles and even a nomination at the prestigious JUNO Awards. Already hailed as a grande dame of the blues, she is undoubtedly the discovery to watch this year!

The evening will be far from gloomy on October 31st , as Big Time Lew will be present with his band, his piano, his syncopated rhythms and his essence harking back to the boogie-woogie, swing and rock'n'roll of the 1950s, promising an electrifying performance.

Then, the closing show of this edition will be presented on November 7th with a group of musicians from the same family and based in Toronto, the Blackburn Brothers . Their close bond, combined with their rich cultural heritage marked by 19th-century American racial segregation, transcends the stage to give rise to powerful moments, greater than the music itself.

Four very different evenings, starting at 8 p.m. in the main hall of the Chalet, all promising high-quality entertainment! General admission tickets can be purchased online for $40 including taxes ($45 at the door, subject to availability). The November 7th performance is $45 online and $50 at the door. Purchase and reserve online at montsutton.com/blues .

To attend all four performances, a 4-show Passport is available, by phone only, at 1 866 538-2545 , extension 0, for $140 taxes included.

Complete immersion with a gourmet addition

And for truly Blues-themed evenings, a Louisiana-inspired meal is offered before the events at Bar Le Tucker, located on the 2nd floor of the main chalet, starting at 5 p.m. An exclusive mountain experience, with a maximum of 80 meals served in a relaxed, warm, and intimate atmosphere.

A delightful combination of flavors to kick off the evening in style and immerse you in a Mardi Gras celebration. Three-course Cajun dinners can be booked individually or as a combo with live music, and are available online at a discounted price. View the menu online here . Additional items and beverages are available on-site.

An Autumn Festival that continues

Moreover, the colours are very present in the mountain landscapes and a multitude of activities take place there over 3 weekends: giant zip line, zip line with turns, chairlift ride, fun trail, camping at the summit, guided hikes, crafts, local wine tastings, yoga at the summit, various workshops and more!

Mountain biking and disc golf are still accessible 7 days a week until November, weather permitting.
