“On behalf of Alpine Canada and our Board of Directors, I’m proud to congratulate these talented athletes and to welcome them to Canada’s National Ski Team,” said Matt Hallat, Vice President, High-Performance & National Teams. “With a new World Cup season getting underway, there’s tremendous excitement for what lies ahead, including World Championships just a few months away. I’m especially looking forward to seeing our young development athletes continue to grow, gain experience and test themselves against the world’s best.

“We’re also thrilled to welcome Capital Power to the world of ski racing and grateful for their support of Canada’s National Ski Team. Their investment will help develop the next generation of racers and strengthen Canada’s future as a world-leading winter sport nation.”

World Cup ski racing began last weekend, October 24–25, in Sölden, Austria, where the traditional opening men’s and women’s giant slalom races launched the season.

The ski cross World Cup season begins in Val Thorens, FRA on December 10th and thePara alpine season starts December 15th in Santa Caterina, ITA.
