Berghaus and Pop Trading Company Launch Collaborative Collection

Berghaus and Pop Trading Company come together for a collaborative collection shaped by two distinct environments: the outdoors and the city. Bringing together Berghaus’ technical outdoor heritage and Pop’s roots in Amsterdam skateboarding and contemporary menswear, the project explores a shared approach to functional clothing made for movement and everyday use.

Founded in the North East of England in 1966, Berghaus has spent six decades developing outdoor clothing and equipment around performance, durability and purposeful innovation. Nearly five decades later, Pop Trading Company was established in Amsterdam in 2013. The brand grew from the skateboarding community into a contemporary menswear label, while remaining closely connected to the culture that shaped it. The collaboration weaves these two perspectives together through a shared appreciation for practical, adaptable clothing.

Across the entire collection, technical outerwear and fleece sit alongside sweats, jersey and accessories, combining Berghaus’ performance-driven approach with Pop’s use of color, graphics and detail. Hydroshell® fabrics and functional construction are balanced by garment dyeing, heavy washes, batik treatments and embroidery, creating a wardrobe that moves naturally between outdoor and urban environments.

Best friends Mats Edel and Noah Bunink created assets for the collection (available here) over the course of a road trip in the Berghaus & Pop mini campervan. The series of cinematic reels, fast-paced travel edit, and hard-flash photography showcase the line’s eccentric and functional style.
