Apex Ski Boots unveils its 2026-2027 collection introducing fresh new colors and technology updates across its innovative ski boot family. Founded by passionate skiers with a mission to rethink the traditional ski boot, Apex continues to challenge industry conventions with a distinctive boot system designed to deliver high-performance skiing without sacrificing comfort, mobility or convenience.
Founded in 2006 in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Apex Ski Boots is an independently owned, skier-focused company dedicated to rethinking the traditional ski boot experience. Built around a unique combination of a comfortable inner walking boot and a high-performance outer chassis, Apex's innovative boot system delivers precision fit, warmth, mobility and efficient power transfer to the ski edge. Through four generations of design, Apex continues to develop premium ski boots for skiers of all levels, across all terrain and conditions.
"Nearly 20 years ago, the original Apex ski boot system was born, and four generations of design later, we're delivering to skiers everything the founders set out to create," said Brian Ellwood, Chief Operating Officer at Apex Ski Boots. "The newest collection continues that commitment. We're bringing fresh new looks to our innovative boot system that combines a compact, performance-driven outer chassis with a comfortable, walkable inner boot."

Since its founding in 2006 in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Apex has focused on solving one of skiing's longstanding challenges: the compromise between the performance of a traditional ski boot and the comfort and mobility needed throughout a day at the resort. The latest collection incorporates advanced BOA® Fit System configurations and innovative lacing technologies designed to deliver a precision fit, secure leg capture and efficient power transfer to the ski edge.
The 2026-2027 collection features Apex's VS family, including three models designed for different skiing styles and needs:
Antero VS Carbon (Mens): Designed for all-mountain and off-piste skiing, the Antero VS Carbon features a carbon fiber chassis engineered for power and performance. Its Dual-stack BOA® technology incorporates two H5 BOA® dials for a micro-adjustable, precision fit, while Hyperwrap® lower-leg lacing delivers locked-in leg capture for confident, high-speed turns. New for 2026–2027, the Antero VS Carbon is available in Black Ember.

Crestone VS (Mens): An all-day resort boot designed for carving turns, bumps and powder days, the Crestone VS combines performance with the mobility and comfort that distinguish the Apex system. New for 2026–2027, the boot features two powerful H5 BOA® dials and LOCK WRAP lacing technology for enhanced heel retention. New color options include Storm Slate and Alpine Clay.

Blanca VS (Womens): Featuring the BOA® Fit System, the Blanca VS delivers performance-oriented construction, a precision fit and all-day walkability without compromise. For 2026–2027, the Blanca VS is available in two new colors: Champagne and Night Shade.

A defining feature across the Apex system is its unique inner walking boot, which allows skiers to move naturally around the resort without the limitations of a traditional rigid ski boot. From navigating stairs and icy parking lots to relaxing in the lodge, the system makes the entire ski day more comfortable and convenient.
With nearly two decades of innovation behind its design, Apex continues to change expectations for what a ski boot can deliver, combining performance on the mountain with comfort and mobility throughout the entire resort experience.
