Justin Murisier has signed a contract with Kästle. The Swiss speed specialist is ready to attack next season on mint-coloured skis.
Kästle is proud to announce the signing of another athlete from the Swiss-Ski team roster: Justin Murisier. With this addition, the company significantly strengthens its men's speed team ahead of the 2026/27 season.
With its carefully selected roster of athletes, Kästle celebrated another milestone in the success story of its Race Department, relaunched in 2019, during the past season: the brand's first men's Alpine World Cup victory. Jan Zabystřan secured this historic achievement for the traditional Vorarlberg-based ski manufacturer by winning the Super-G in Val Gardena.
The company now aims to build on this foundation. Signing Justin Murisier is the reward for years of development and hard work. A member of the Swiss-Ski A Team, Murisier has established himself as a consistent top-10 finisher in recent years. In particular, the 2024/25 season saw him claim his first individual World Cup victory in Beaver Creek. Last season, however, he struggled with injuries and a few setbacks. The Swiss athlete has since put that chapter behind him and is eager to attack again with new equipment.
"From my very first turns in Val d'Ultimo, I immediately felt the potential of the Kästle skis. After four days of testing. I knew that with this setup I wouldn't just be competing in the World Cup-I could fight for the top positions."
To support Murisier, Kästle has brought in experienced serviceman Alex Martin, who notably prepared Ted Ligety's skis during the most successful period of his career.
CEO Markus Weeger is delighted about the partnership with Murisier : "Having another top speed athlete alongside Jan Zabystřan join our roster is an important step in the right direction and at the same time a strong validation of our equipment. In addition to our highly competitive Swiss women's team, Justin now gives us a strong presence in the men's field as well. Earning this level of trust from athletes in the Swiss market environment is a major statement - both athletically and commercially."
Murisier (born 8 January 1992) is a Swiss World Cup alpine ski racer who competes in giant slalom, super-G and downhill. Earlier, he also competed in slalom.
Born in Martigny, Valais, Murisier has competed at three Winter Olympics and five World Championships. His first World Cup podium came in December 2020 at Alta Badia, Italy, and his first win came in December 2024 in the downhill at Beaver Creek, Colorado, US. Murisier's father is a cousin of alpine ski racer William Besse
