As part of the international trade fair MOUNTAIN PLANET 2026, the International Organisation of Cableway Engineering (OITAF) traditionally organizes a technical seminar, which was prepared by Study Committee No. I (General Technical Regulations).

The topic aims to highlight the diversity of needs and applications of cable car technology. In particular, it will demonstrate how it is possible to equip a system, or to take additional precautions, based on a relatively standardized technology in order to meet specific and diverse operational requirements.

The seminar's lectures, given by experts in the planning, construction and operation of cable cars from various countries, illustrate this idea using concrete examples.

This selection of applications clearly demonstrates how ideas are further developed, enriched, and refined through exchange with others. The seminar offers participants an exciting forum for exchanging information, knowledge, and perspectives.

Presentation languages: Speakers' native language.

Simultaneous interpretation: German, English, French and Italian.
