Exciting new openings, renovations, and repositionings in the accommodation sector will bring a fresh perspective to Tyrol in the summer of 2026. The offerings range from modern hotels and high-quality apartments to innovative camping and slow-living concepts – thus appealing specifically to new and existing target groups without losing sight of the region's identity.

Forsters Nature Resort · Stubai
Following extensive renovations, the Forsters Nature Resort in the Stubai Valley is even more attractive: a newly designed reception area and panoramic dining room, an expanded sauna area with a family sauna, the adults-only rooftop spa "Cloud 7" with an infinity pool, relaxation zones and a sunset terrace, as well as the expanded fitness area, invite guests to enjoy special moments of pleasure and well-being. Families can look forward to adventures in the new two-story forest playhouse, complemented by a bathing lake, herb garden, nature play area, fallow deer enclosure and farm.
Bergland Sölden · Ötztal
From summer 2026, the Hotel Bergland in Sölden will expand its spa area, combining alpine wellness traditions with a Japanese-inspired lifestyle. Highlights include a new onsen-style pool, complemented by new relaxation rooms, yoga and fitness areas, a renovated event sauna made from the hotel's own Swiss pine, and a modernized adults-only area. The day spa changing rooms will also be redesigned, completing the contemporary wellness concept.
Hotel Panorama Royal · Kufsteinerland
With its architecturally striking wooden building housing 21 exclusive rooms, the so-called "Bird's Nests," the Hotel Panorama Royal in Bad Häring is setting new standards in the international wellness and health sector. The expansion is complemented by a new panoramic bar, an enlarged restaurant, an expanded panoramic park now 25,000 m², and significantly improved lobby, fitness, and meditation areas. This, one of the largest investments since the hotel's founding, underscores its commitment to consistently pursuing its holistic "Our Way of Healing" concept.
Hotel Kristall · Achensee
The Hotel Kristall in Pertisau has expanded its offerings with a 1,400 m² Sky Spa featuring an indoor and outdoor infinity pool, whirlpool loungers, massage alcoves, and a relaxing outdoor terrace. The new wellness area is complemented by a natural bathing lake and a redesigned wellness buffet. In total, guests now have approximately 3,500 m² of wellness space at their disposal for relaxation amidst the lake and mountains.
Radisson RED · Innsbruck Region
The Radisson RED Innsbruck brings urban lifestyle and international upscale design to the heart of the new RAIQA area. As the brand's first hotel in Tyrol, this property near the train station combines creative design, smart technology, and vibrant social spaces with a straightforward, modern service concept. The Obstgartl 1 building at the Alpenresort Schwaz in Mieming was modernized and redesigned last year. The 15 new Panorama & Sky Panorama rooms, six Feldern rooms, and six Balance family suites – some with private saunas – were designed with a bright, contemporary style and natural materials. The building now offers the highest level of comfort, meeting passive house standards.

Following meticulous renovations, the traditional Hotel Goldener Engl in the heart of Hall in Tirol celebrated its reopening as a boutique hotel at the end of 2025. In the approximately 700-year-old building, historical architecture and a rich history blend seamlessly with modern design and thoughtful details. The former Hotel Alpenrose in Elbigenalp was transformed into the modern Vaya Lechtal at the end of 2025. From May 2026, the newly built FUX & HÅS loft will open at the renowned Fischerwirt hotel on Lake Achensee. Guests can expect modern furnishings, a small terrace with a garden, and a retreat in alpine surroundings on 48 m² – ideal for relaxing days away from everyday life.

Since autumn 2025, Naturapartments Alpbach has been welcoming guests as the first organic hotel in the Alpbachtal valley. Three apartments for a total of 13 people carefully combine the renovated, over 50-year-old building (formerly Haus Karwendelstein) with sustainable management, regional roots, and 100% organic certification. This creates a retreat that harmoniously unites nature, comfort, and a sense of responsibility.

in Haus Lorenz, located in the Alte Mühle (Old Mill) in Scharnitz, are now available. Ranging in size from 42 to 77 m², each apartment can accommodate up to five people. Since December 2025, the Pfister family's new apartment building, myZillernest, has been welcoming guests to seven apartments for two to eight people. Modernly designed in an alpine style, it boasts allergy-friendly beds, a private wellness area including a sauna, and a prime location just 800 meters from the Zillertal Arena valley station.

In a sunny location with an impressive mountain panorama, the main building offers campers a reception, restaurant, café, farm shop, and mountain guide office, as well as three apartments directly in the building. Guests experience alpine tranquility and comfort amidst nature, opposite the Quellalpin Kaunertal with its swimming pool, sauna, bouldering hall, and more.
Judenstein Campsite · Innsbruck Region
In April 2026, Judenstein Campsite near Innsbruck will reopen as a modern, accessible campsite after extensive renovations. The approximately one-hectare site offers 40 to 45 level pitches, ten permanent camping pitches, and a spacious tent meadow. This popular resort, which has been delighting guests since 1971, combines comfort, nature experiences, and relaxing tranquility in a sunny location.
