Skiers rise early to catch the best spring snow. Lunch on a sunny mountain hut terrace is an unhurried affair, followed by a leisurely descent on the softened piste to the hotel door. Come Easter (3-6 April), kids will discover the 3Fs Forsthofgut Family Fun. Unwind, recharge, and enjoy nature in the valley as well as the snow higher up. The milder temperatures suit skiers and non-skiers alike, especially for little ones making their first turns on the nursery slope. Guests of all ages can participate in a wide variety of daily activities organised by the hotel, including the weekly deer-feeding with the owner, Christoph Schmuck, which is a favourite for every generation. The Easter Time at Forsthofgut package, 28 March to 12 April, is priced from Euros 2,280 (£1992) per adult for five nights including half-board accommodation and a Euro 50 voucher to spend in the waldSPA, riding stables or one of the à la carte restaurants. On Sunday 5 April, a delicious Easter brunch is served between 7 am and 12 noon.
