Dubbed ‘Fishmas’ the last Saturday of April each year marks the opening of fishing season in Mammoth Lakes. The fishing spots that are open for the first day of the season can vary each year, depending on snow and ice melt, but between the waters that are open year-round and the lakes at lower-elevations, there's always a spot for fishers to drop a line. Visitors can enjoy the winter fishing spots, which are open year-round, then head up to the Eastern Sierra for the first day back out at the favourite seasonal spots.
Enjoy après at the movies
