Sunshine: A constant feature at Hauser Kaibling!
You can count on it – the DJ Ötzi summit tour has been stopping at Hauser Kaibling for many years, and this time too, the tour stop was accompanied by sunshine. A perfect ski day at Hauser Kaibling and a wonderful Saturday afternoon for après-ski deluxe.
6000 enthusiastic fans
The guests proved that both the slopes and the party at Hauser Kaibling were something to behold! A record number of fans attended, setting a new attendance record of 6,000. The valley basin at Hauser Kaibling was literally transformed into an arena, and the concert area expanded right up to the slopes, with fans and guests gathering to party hard with DJ Ötzi! Numerous stag and hen parties and fans from all over Austria took advantage of the exuberant atmosphere – and DJ Ötzi fans in tailored outfits were also spotted. Several white hats could be seen in the crowd. The conditions were perfect for a lively après-ski party!
Summit tour in numbers
The numbers speak for themselves: 116,000 spectators have attended the summit tour over its eight-year history. To reach all the peaks, a total of 40,500 meters of elevation gain has been covered, and 2,050 hours have already been invested in setup and teardown. No wonder – after all, 12 kilometers of cable had to be laid. DJ Ötzi, aka Gerry Friedle, has played 4,978 songs for his summit tour fans so far. Anything goes: DJ Ötzi hits as well as the best après-ski classics.
