25/March/2026
Cotopaxi has opened a store in Jackson Hole’s Town Square. The Salt Lake City-based outdoor brand operates over 20 stores globally, including flagships in Boston, Park City, UT; Portland, OR; Denver, CO, and Kyoto, Japan.
The company said that the town of Jackson Hole was a “natural choice for a brick-and-mortar retail presence and is well-known for its ski resorts, wildlife and proximity to the Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks.”
“We’re honored to plant roots in such a storied and vibrant setting,” said CEO Lindsay Shumlas. “Jackson’s blend of outdoor passion, environmental stewardship and artistic spirit is deeply aligned with Cotopaxi’s mission. We look forward to outfitting both locals and adventurers passing through and to participating in this community in a meaningful way.”
Adventure inspires us to see the world and make it better. That’s why Cotopaxi creates responsibly made outdoor gear that brings performance, colour, and joy to all, and helps us build a movement to support communities around the world.
They support people impacted by poverty around the world, with a primary focus on Latin America. They dedicate 1% of annual revenue to the Cotopaxi Foundation, which supports nonprofits with proven track records of reducing poverty through health care, education, and livelihoods.
They approach sustainability holistically. Since our biggest impacts occur within our supply chain, they work with factories that prioritise sustainability and treat workers right. They also choose recycled, leftover deadstock, and other sustainably minded materials for over 96% of products.
