Garance, a new 4-star hotel in the heart of Morzine, plans opening for December 2026

Mont-Blanc Collection, based in Chamonix, unveils Garance, a 4-star hotel with 65 rooms set to open in the heart of Morzine in December 2026. A new generation of alpine hospitality, where sporting spirit meets contemporary elegance.

Located on the village's main square, steps away from the ski lifts, Garance breathes new life into one of Morzine's most iconic addresses: the former Hôtel Les Airelles. Nestled within the Portes du Soleil area, the property enjoys a premium location.

The hotel's name draws inspiration from the lingonberry and its deep red hue—an intense, vivid colour embodying passion, energy and vitality. A shade born from the alpine landscape, wild and authentic, that captures the very soul of the place.

Interior architecture and design have been entrusted to Paris-based Studio Briand & Berthereau. Each room interprets the mountain refuge spirit through a refined contemporary aesthetic, where noble materials and fluid lines evoke alpine movement and energy.

Airelles, alpine brasserie In tribute to the history of the site, the hotel preserves the name Airelles for its restaurant. Conceived as a contemporary alpine brasserie, the table celebrates sharing-style mountain cuisine—regional produce, signature dishes and summit berries as a nod to the local landscape. The experience extends into a lounge bar and karaoke room, the hotel's social heart from morning to late night.

The experience unfolds across a full range of spaces: a pool and spa (sauna, Nordic bath, treatment room), a multi-activity area for yoga, fitness and seminars, a fully equipped ski and bike room, and two dedicated spaces for children and teenagers for the rare moments they aren't out on the mountain.
