The "Ski Instructor Festival" enters its second round on March 6 and 7, 2026, promising to be even more atmospheric and spectacular than its successful premiere last year. The country's best formation teams and elite ski instructors will compete against each other in several disciplines. Spectators can expect a captivating mix of top athletic performances, show elements, and alpine event atmosphere. With over 30 teams in the demonstration championships, more than 100 participants in the giant slalom, and around 50 individual demonstration skiers, the festival boasts high participation. Admission is free.

The festival's centerpiece is synchronized skiing, where teams of six impress with stunning choreography, perfect coordination, and creative skiing maneuvers. The program is complemented by individual demonstration runs, where Austria's best ski instructors showcase their technical perfection and personal style. Another highlight is the giant slalom championships, which will be held on Friday (March 6th) starting at 4 pm in two runs under floodlights. Here, speed, technique, and composure are key.

Saturday evening (March 7th) promises the weekend's grand finale: Starting at 7 pm, the synchronized skiing finals under floodlights on the north slope of the Rittisberg will create a spectacular atmosphere. Immediately afterward, the big ski instructor party begins right in the finish area. From 9 pm, the live band "Die Niachtn" will provide musical entertainment – admission is free. The program will be hosted by Marco, who has worked as a commentator at numerous World Cup events, and DJ Max, who guarantee top-notch entertainment.
