Powderhorn Resort offers 3-Year Passes for $999, plus new lift for 2026/27

For generations, Powderhorn has invited families on the Western Slope to enjoy high-desert skiing on the Grand Mesa, where slopes and arms are open wide, and time seems to stand still. To longtime Season Passholders, and to those who plan to be—thank you for being a part of the journey.

A limited quantity of 3-Year Passes for $999 are available online, offering three winters of unlimited access for one remarkable price. Winter 2026-27 marks not only the 60th anniversary, but the arrival of the Wild West Express high-speed quad chairlift and further improvements to the mountain and the base area. 

In September 2025, Powderhorn announced plans to replace the West End lift, a fixed-grip two-seater that was installed in 1972. The replacement, a high-speed quad dubbed Wild West Express, is planned to be installed in the summer of 2026, and should be ready to enter service by December 2026.

As a 3-Year Passholder, you represent the connection between this flat-topped mountain's rich past and bright future. Powderhorn sits on the side of the world's largest flattop mountain, the grand Mesa, allowing for views extending across the desert below. The climate at Powderhorn's high desert location— east of Grand Junction, Colorado and slightly north and east of Colorado National Monument— produces dry, powder snow. Powderhorn has a wide variety of terrain with a few long groomed runs as well as steeper tree runs and boulder fields full of jumps and cliffs.
