Snowboxx returns for the 12th edition in Avoriaz, France

The Snowboxx festival returns to Avoriaz from 14 to 21 March 2025 for its 12th edition, bringing together skiing, live music, and après-ski. Enjoy family fun on Timok’s Alpine Coaster in Pillerseetal in the Austrian Tirol

Since summer 2010, the Timok Alpine Coaster in the Pillerseetal region of the Austrian Tirol has invited visitors to “let’s coast,” offering a thrilling yet safe ride from the F1 Streuböden mid-station in both summer and winter. The 1,160-metre track descends 115 metres in elevation and delivers around seven minutes of excitement, reaching up to nine metres above ground at its highest point. Riders control their own speed as they navigate dynamic features such as the “Kaiserwelle,” the winding “Riesenschlange” (Big Snake), and the spectacular 360° carousel, before being carried comfortably back uphill. In winter, use of the Alpine Coaster is included with every valid lift ticket. The attraction operates daily from 12 pm to 3:30 pm, children aged three and over may ride when accompanied by someone at least 15 years old, while children aged eight and above may ride independently.
