FWt Competition Update: Georgia Pro Cancelled

The FIS Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance confirms that the Georgia Pro, the third stop of the FWT season, has been canceled due to unstable snowpack conditions.

The Freeride World Tour had planned a return to Tetnuldi in Georgia’s majestic Caucasus Mountains, a freeride paradise known for its vast, powder-filled terrain. Tetnuldi has quickly gained recognition as one of the most exciting stops on the tour, attracting top athletes ready to push their limits. With its stunning mountain landscape and challenging conditions, the 2026 event promised even more intense competition as riders showcased their skills at this high-altitude venue.

"We sincerely thank the Local Organizing Committee, the local community, and our fans for their professionalism, understanding, and continued support. We look forward to returning to Georgia next season."

Following extensive evaluation by FWT officials, mountain safety experts, and local professionals, current conditions do not meet the standards required to ensure athlete and staff safety. Multiple venue and scheduling options were carefully assessed before reaching this decision, and the structural instability observed would not sufficiently improve within the available window. As always, safety and fair competition remain our top priorities.

The organization will now assess the possibility of rescheduling the competition during the Fieberbrunn Pro weather window. Further updates will follow.
