Cooperation Goes Ahead Between Interalpin And Mountain Planet: City Cable Car Solutions

With CITY CABLE CAR SOLUTIONS (3CS), Congress Messe Innsbruck, organizer of INTERALPIN, the world's leading trade fair for alpine technologies, has created an international industry platform for urban cable car solutions. Following its successful premiere at INTERALPIN 2025, 3CS will be held for the first time in cooperation with ALPEXPO as part of MOUNTAIN PLANET from April 21 to 23, 2026, in Grenoble. The congress and conference program will take place on April 22. 3CS sees itself as a thematic marketplace for manufacturers, transport operators, authorities, planning offices, and political decision-makers.

The development and implementation of CITY CABLE CAR SOLUTIONS 3CS is based on the growing international market demand for cable car-based mobility solutions in urban public transport. Examples such as La Paz, Mexico City, and Paris impressively demonstrate the potential of these systems. In cooperation with key market players, 3CS was first presented as a congress and conference format at INTERALPIN in Innsbruck in 2025.

Holding CITY CABLE CAR SOLUTIONS at MOUNTAIN PLANET further strengthens the long-standing partnership between Congress Messe Innsbruck and ALPEXPO. MOUNTAIN PLANET is the international trade fair for planning and innovation in the mountains and alternates with INTERALPIN. In the future, CITY CABLE CAR SOLUTIONS will also alternate between Innsbruck and Grenoble.
