Petzl continues to push the boundaries of headlamp innovation — delivering smarter light, longer battery life, and intuitive ergonomics for climbers, hikers, trail runners, and cavers alike.
At Petzl, they’ve been innovating hands-free lighting for over 50 years. Our goal has always been to provide customers with headlamps which deliver the highest performance. Whether it’s for caving, running, skiing, hiking or everyday activities - Petzl makes a headlamp to meet your needs.
REACTIVE LIGHTING
Petzl’s exclusive REACTIVE LIGHTING® technology utilizes an integrated light sensor that instantly analyses ambient light levels. It automatically adjusts brightness and beam pattern to match the user's needs. Reactive Lighting offers Reduced Manual Operation: The lamp transitions between proximity and distance vision automatically, allowing the user to stay focused on their activity without fumbling with buttons. It also Optimises Battery Life: By only providing the exact amount of light required, the system reduces battery consumption and extends burn time.
Innovative Design and Performance
The new SWIFT RL offers up to 1200 lumens at a weight of 92g and is engineered for comfort and versatility, featuring an ultra-thin, split-construction headband that ensures a secure, ergonomic fit during high-intensity movement. The headband is made from recycled materials and is fully reflective for enhanced visibility.
A quick double-tap on the side of the headlamp activates a 6-second Boost, SWIFT RL also allows users to easily switch to standard or red lighting mode.
SWIFT RL is powered by a 2250 mAh Lithium-ion battery that is easy to recharge via USB-C. A five-level gauge provides precise monitoring of your remaining power, and the battery is specifically engineered to maintain its performance even in low temperatures.
To support a longer product lifespan and reduce environmental impact, Petzl offers the headband, battery, and storage pouch as replaceable spare parts. Discover the full technical specifications at petzl.com
