MND unveils an AI-powered technical support assistant for its customers

Just a few days before the opening of Mountain Planet, Savoy-based industrial group MND is taking another step in the transformation of its customer service by deploying, in partnership with Savoy-based company Lyha, a generative AI system capable of analyzing its entire technical documentation to provide continuous answers to questions from ski area operators and mountain safety infrastructure managers. This new digital tool strengthens the quality and responsiveness of customer service for MND SNOW (snowmaking systems) and MND SAFETY (avalanche safety), supporting installation reliability and operational performance in the field.
The Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system developed with Savoy-based company Lyha is built on MND’s technical documents, manuals, intervention history and operating guides to provide contextualized and easy-to-understand answers for field teams.
In practice, the AI queries an up-to-date documentation database in real time and then generates natural language responses adapted to the level of detail and type of request: troubleshooting, parameter optimization, maintenance procedures or safety instructions.
Available 24/7 worldwide, this digital assistant answers operational teams’ questions in several languages, alongside MND’s customer support teams, helping to reduce equipment downtime, secure interventions and improve the reliability of operational decisions.
All software solutions and data operated by Lyha on behalf of MND are hosted and processed in France, ensuring full digital sovereignty and control over customers’ strategic data.
As part of the “Yes We Care 2030” CSR strategy, this generative AI project contributes to MND’s sustainable performance roadmap. This approach supports better environmental impact management by encouraging more preventive rather than corrective maintenance, better preparation of interventions and greater use of data to optimize equipment management, in line with MND’s commitments to resource efficiency and the safety of both operators and users.

This new service will be fully operational and available to all MND customers by autumn 2026.
