Brian Head to Close Daily Operations April 26; Final Weekend May 2–3

Brian Head Resort will end daily operations for the 2025–26 ski season this Sunday, April 26, before reopening for one final bonus weekend of skiing and snowboarding on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3.

Brian Head will finish the season with 159 days of winter operations, marking one of the longest ski seasons in Utah this year. The resort was also the first in Utah to open for the season on November 21, 2025.

Closing weekend celebrations on Saturday, May 2, will include:

  • Raffle giveaways: Each lift ticket scan earns a raffle entry, so every lap counts. Guests who arrive in costume will receive extra entries. Prizes include lift tickets, a one-night stay at Brian Head Lodge, and a weekday season pass.

  • Group photo: A mountain-wide group photo will take place at noon at the top of Giant Steps Lift.

  • Music: A live DJ will perform at Giant Steps Lodge from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Costumes are encouraged. The more creative and colorful, the better, as the resort sends off the season in style.

When the snow's gone Brian Head kicks into summer mode.
