A Letter to the Industry from Leitner-Poma of America

A Letter to the Industry from Leitner-Poma of America, they say:
"To our industry colleagues and partners,
As the season begins to wind down, we want to take a moment to thank you—your teams, your leadership, and the work that goes into operating every day on your mountains.
This winter took many different shapes across North America. From regions managing limited snowfall, to those navigating constant changes in conditions, to others experiencing record storms, one thing remained consistent: the level of diligence, adaptability, and commitment across resort teams.
We see that work, and we appreciate it.
Across lift operations, mountain operations, and leadership teams, there’s a steady focus on delivering for guests while balancing the realities each day brings. Much of that effort happens behind the scenes, but it’s what keeps the industry moving forward.
At LPOA, we’re proud to support that work and to be part of an industry that continues to show that level of persistence and professionalism.
As we look ahead, we also recognize that many of you are planning in a business environment that remains both dynamic and, at times, unpredictable.
From our side, we are focused on doing everything we can to help keep projects and long-term investments as stable and predictable as possible. A key part of that effort continues to be our commitment to domestic manufacturing through our Made in America initiative.
With the majority of our manufacturing and all system assembly taking place in the United States—and with Skytrac operating as a fully domestic manufacturing platform—we are working to reduce exposure to global volatility wherever possible and provide more consistency in both cost and delivery timelines.
At the same time, we continue to work closely with our longstanding international suppliers, and we are actively managing those relationships and sourcing strategies to navigate ongoing market pressures.
Our goal is to approach this environment in a way that is steady, transparent, and aligned with your planning needs.
Just as important, we continue to value the conversations we’re having across the industry. The insight you share—what you’re seeing on the ground, how you’re planning ahead—helps inform how we think about our role as a partner and how we support you moving forward.
Thank you again for your partnership and for the work you and your teams put in throughout the season.
We look forward to seeing many of you in Carlsbad this May, and in the months ahead, and as always, please don’t hesitate to reach out."
